In-House Dental Lab in Fresno
Whitlow Dental Care’s in-house dental lab supports selected dental appliance, temporary restoration, and repair needs at our Fresno office. Having a lab on site allows the clinical team and lab technician to coordinate directly about fit, appearance, and adjustments.
If you have a damaged appliance or missing tooth, call 559-254-4117 so the team can discuss an evaluation. Whether a temporary tooth or repair can be completed during your visit depends on the condition of your mouth, the appliance, and the work required.

Meet the person behind the appliances
Gabriel, our lab technician, works in the on-site dental laboratory and has been part of the Whitlow Dental Care team since September 2020. His background includes more than 15 years of creating dental appliances. Meet Gabriel and the rest of our team.
How the lab fits into your care
For selected cases, the on-site lab can support temporary appliances, repairs, fittings, and adjustments. The dentist determines the clinical plan, and the laboratory work follows the needs of that plan. Some work requires additional appointments or outside coordination; an in-house lab does not mean every restoration is completed during one visit.
When you discuss a restoration with Dr. Kurt Whitlow, ask which parts can be handled on site, what you will wear between appointments, and how the final fit and bite will be checked.
Questions to ask about your appliance or repair
- Can this appliance be repaired, or is replacement a better option?
- Will I need a temporary restoration while work is completed?
- Which work can be done on site, and which steps need more time?
- When should I return for a fitting, adjustment, or follow-up?
- What is included in the estimate for the laboratory and clinical work?
Tell us if you are traveling to Fresno so we can discuss the appointment sequence. Timing depends on your examination and the type of restoration.
